A licensed corporate psychologist, Julie was founding partner and co-owner of Sellergren-George Consulting Psychologists. She has nearly twenty years of experience in organizational consulting with premier firms in the Twin Cities, including Personnel Decisions, Inc. (PDI) and MDA Consulting Group. Her areas of focus include management and executive assessment for development, career and life planning, team building, and individual coaching.

She has worked with public and private sector clients, as well as with individuals and closely-held companies. For seven years she was a contract provider to McGladrey & Pullen's Management Development Institute, where she continues to provide executive coaching services through their Leadership Development Program.

Using in-depth, targeted interviews and well-recognized personality and interest inventories, Julie helps clients to identify and better leverage their managerial strengths, while downplaying or shoring up weaknesses. She also helps people plan and build satisfying lives and careers by increasing their insights regarding their talents, values and interests. Insightful, probing and sensitive, Julie commits herself to infusing clients with creativity, confidence and optimism as they face a variety of career challenges and personal transitions.

Julie has a master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor's degree in English from Grinnell College. She also completed a two-year Gestalt Therapy training program and a one-year coaching program through New Ventures West. She has been a licensed psychologist in Minnesota since 1984.

She has recently completed her fourth year on the Board of ChrysalisA Center for Women.
